About The Purple Tree.
I have always had a facination with trees that grow all on their own. I dunno why but I always think there is a certain beauty to a tree that stands proud in isolation. This lone tree is on a beautiful hillside in Tuscany to which I have added a lot of artistic licence. I wondered what it would look like with ‘blue’ early morning winter grass and an orange late evening summer sky. Then to add that extra bit of wonder I made the tree purple. Isn’t art wonderful.
