This is another of my original oil paintings (for sale in the abstract paintings shop) digitally improved. The idea behind it was to paint a blue sky with fluffy clouds on a sunny day and then develop it from there. I got it that far and thought the colours were nice but needed some ‘orange’ added. I tied to think of way to add that orange but nothing really came, so in frustration I just started ‘flicking’ the orange paint at the painting. I did a few, then a few more and about a half and hour later this painting was born. A painting doesn’t always have to have a deep ‘inspirational’ meaning behind it to be great and this painting is a example of that. It exists and ‘earns it’s keep’ because it looks great and often that is enough.
And this painting does look great and is enhanced further using digital technology (the blue is a stronger blue for example) making it a very enjoyable art piece.
