Loved the way this turned out because the second from top ‘layer’ was ‘wonky’ and so I assumed it was destined for the bin. Not a bit of it, that ‘wonky stripe’ makes this painting. It is a great example of how wonderful art is when this happens. Some people who have viewed this piece have disapproved of it because that stripe is not straight, others have looked at it a ‘loved it’ because the stripe is ‘wonky’. I love this about art because it reflects life and this is an example of this. I didn’t mean to paint the stripe ‘wonky’ but I did, no person is perfect and this painting represents that. I hope whoever hangs this on their wall will be remined that we are not prefect and that it is ‘OK not to be OK.
