This is one of my favourite paintings and I knew that the minute I painted it which was in April of this year. The backround is a Burnt Umber dark brown paint which I love with deep reds mixed with more orange reds. When I paint a piece like this I have to remind myself that I am a professional and that I HAVE to sell it.
